The Van Kleek House in Millis was a vacant house in terrible shape. Despite its deterioration, it was a very significant focal point of the community. Thomas Roche came upon the scene and figured out a way to convert this deteriorating beauty into a useful building. Mr. Roche successfully rehabilitated the house into a restaurant. It now houses the upscale Rossi's Restaurant & Bistro. This project was an outstanding example of the type of work Tom Roche is known for. His work on the Van Kleek House earned him the 1989 Massachusetts Historical Commission Preservation Award for outstanding commitment to historical preservation.

Millis is the quintessential New England town that is proud of its rich heritage. Set back on the banks of the Charles River, Millis offers some of the area's most beautiful tree lined streets, antique homes, rolling pastures and equestrian farms. It is also home to Glen Ellen Country Club with its expansive eighteen hole golf course, pool and banquet facilities.

The Meadows at Rockville in Millis is a wonderful place to call home. This active adult community of twenty three villa style buildings is nestled amongst twenty seven sprawling acres. Set back from a scenic country road, each home in the Meadows at Rockville is surrounded by natural woodlands. Forty percent of the site is open space, uniquely setting it apart from other adult communities.
